Highlights Recap

Our first stop was the Wenzhou Dongtou Scenic Area, where we arrived as a cheerful and laughing group. Xian Die Rock 。

Renowned for its奇 island scenery, beautiful reefs, exquisite beaches, secluded caves, abundant fish, and diverse birdlife, Dongtou is the only provincial-level key scenic area in Wenzhou City named after a county. As one of the 12 island counties nationwide, Dongtou comprises 168 islands and is affectionately known as the "County of a Hundred Islands" and the "Pearl of the East China Sea." It ranks among the fifty most worthwhile tourist destinations in Zhejiang Province. The area’s rich Minnan cultural characteristics, its status as a national sea-fishing base, and its reputation as an ideal spot for coastal photography—all contribute to the unique charm of this island paradise.

At this moment, Xian Die Rock is bathed in gentle, warm breezes; the air is crisp and the wind soft. The mountains are lush and green, the waters crystal-clear, and the sky is high with light clouds—truly the perfect time for team-building activities.

▲ "Icebreaking" Expansion Project

The “ice-breaking” ritual originated in ancient ship-launching ceremonies—a solemn and spectacular event in which all sailors gathered at the bow of the ship and used iron hammers to smash a massive, impenetrable block of ice. On one hand, this act served as a symbolic safeguard against potential fish-related mishaps; on the other hand, it conveyed a profound message: before setting sail, crew members needed to put aside any lingering grievances and misunderstandings, joining forces and sharing both glory and adversity. The purpose of introducing this “ice-breaking” ritual into experiential training is to break down the coldness and neglect that often arise between individuals due to work, daily life, and other environmental factors, enabling participants to get to know each other anew. It also serves as a warm-up for subsequent training activities. Thematic ice-breaking sessions can be tailored to align with the company’s plans and purposefully reinforce its cultural ethos.

▲ Team Six Captain

After warming up at the start of the camp, everyone freely teamed up to form six small groups. Each group then elected a captain and a flag bearer. Through interactive games, practicing slogans, and singing team songs, the groups competed against each other, showcasing their team spirit and strengthening team cohesion.

▲“World Map” Expansion Project

In the “World Map” expansion project, team members worked closely together in seamless collaboration. By holding onto the four sides of the map, they controlled the movement of the tennis ball, which followed the coach’s instructions precisely. The ball could enter different zones as many times as desired. If the ball fell off the map during the process, the team had to start again from the starting point. The team that successfully reached the final hole first was declared the winner, and rankings were determined based on the time taken to complete the course.

▲ “Tug-of-War” Team-Building Activity

Tug-of-war is a sports activity in which two teams each hold one end of a rope and engage in a contest of strength. It is a traditional sport in China. As early as the Spring and Autumn and Warring States periods, this activity already existed; however, at that time it was not called "tug-of-war" but rather "Gouqiang" or "Qian Gou." Later, it evolved into the folk game known as "Shi Gou Zhi Xi," popular in the Jingchu region.

Bathed in the golden sunlight, the hiking activity officially got underway. Employees participating in the event stepped into the early summer scenery, striding confidently along the mountain trails, fully immersed in joyful moments. Laughter and cheerful songs rose and fell one after another, mingling with the birds’ chirping and the gentle murmur of flowing water—a symphony of nature that echoed endlessly through the mountains and forests.

Standing on the hill and gazing into the distance, all I could see was a vast expanse of white. The sea and the sky seemed to merge into one, making it impossible to tell where the water ended and the sky began. As the saying goes: “Mist shrouds the mountaintops, and the mountains shroud the mist; the sky connects with the far end of the water, and the water connects with the far end of the sky.” In the distance, the sea, bathed in the radiant sunlight, resembled scales of fish spread across its surface, or playful little children endlessly leaping toward the shore. This beautifully harmonious natural setting brings us both physical and mental delight, as well as boundless joy.

After soaking in the beautiful scenery, of course we had to treat ourselves to some delicious food! Faced with the local delicacies of Dongtou, everyone couldn’t help but dig in and enjoy every bite. After filling up and sating their hunger, they took a short break before kicking off the afternoon’s leisure time! In the afternoon, everyone headed to... Little Erhai Lake, It is connected to the mainland via the long Lingni North Dyke at the mouth of the Oujiang River. The entire Dongtou District is a vast archipelago, perfectly situated and blessed by heaven.

After the event concluded, everyone took a bus together to return to Wenzhou. The team-building activity came to a successful close amid laughter and joyful chatter. This team-building experience has united all our colleagues as one, forging us into a tightly-knit group. On the road ahead, we’ll surely be full of fighting spirit and stride forward with confidence—making the most of our youthful years and looking forward to an even brighter future!
